Dana Tue Blog | Writing - Lost Love

We had one moment in that night.

We searched each other for that light…

We touched our hands to feel the past…

We kissed and hoped that it will last.

We danced with eyes over that sight…

Together… just to see what might…

Now all is bathing in a distant memory…

We’re far away in bitter poetry…

We run and hide in sweet oblivion…

With our blame we play in vain…

We had our chance to reach that sky…

We both have been… that night… just blind.

Now all we have is just a little hope…

That universe will give us once again that rope…

To climb on lovers’s ladder that we saw…

To kill the fear and just let go.

Our kiss got lost in time… my love…

And in a thousand words… above.

Our hungry touch was scattered in the wind…

And a confusing storm… is the lost dream.

A million painful… killing… questions…

Devouring our minds… our lessons…

Was it that real? Was it not?

In our foolish big disguise…

We’ve lost ourselves and we got caught.

What is the love? And where is that?

Am I just… stupid or my heart?

I don’t know much about the world…

I just know all the things I’ve heared…

That in that sacred moment of the night…

I was all yours and you were light.

Look at each other now… my love…

Cold fortresses just hiding love…

Fighting the demons with our hearts…

We just can’t see that we’ve already lost.

We’re now just losers of that love…

For love is only for the brave…

And we were not.
