I Don't Know What Love Is

I don’t know what love is.
Crossing paths to darkest places…
In a crowd of faceless faces…
Could it be just that… first look?
Could it be… all… that it took?
I don’t know what love is.
Could it be my wildest heartbeat…
Passing movement of your heat…
And those shivers on the line…
When you slowly touched my spine?
I don’t know what love is.
Could it be that breathless instant…
When I thought I’ve lost your sight…
Saw your face again that night…
You were following me distant.
I don’t know what love is.
Walking old streets arm in arm…
That first kiss… that felt so warm…
Could it be that perfect date…
Could those be the lips of fate?
I don’t know what love is.
Going wild in that black car…
On that dizzy music sound…
Could it be the passion of that night?
That painful “goodbye” at sunlight?
I don’t know what love is.
Bitter tears and pain when leaving…
And the endless nights of dreaming…
Could it be that new born hope?
Could that be the “lover’s dope”?
I don’t know what love is.
Could it be that burning hell of jealousy?
Could it be that constant feel of misery?
Could it be those thousands calls?
Could it be those dropping walls?
I don’t know what love is.
Could it be those hard rock songs?
Could it be our fights… our wrongs?
Could it be those cryptic words?
Could it be those poem’s swords?
I don’t know what love is…
Or should be…
All I know is that…
This thing we have… might be.
